As I mentioned below, I was outside last night trying to take some photos of Sophie, but that didn't work out. So I just sat outside to enjoy the evening and caught various stages of the sky as the sun was setting. It turned out to quite different than I expected at the start!

More beautiful pictures!!!
Thanks for sharing your pictures. Very beautiful!
Love these, Michelle! I thought of you when I was on my way home from work last night. There was a gorgeous reddish-orange sun making its descent, and it would have been a perfect "Michelle" moment. Wish I had your talent with a camera. But I cut off people's heads, too. LOL.
Love the colors - I saw a sunset like this the other night but didn't have my camera!
I'm glad you guys enjoy the photos:) It was fun to watch the progression.
And Sam, I've had that happen many times! Twice in the last week it's happened. It seems whenever I decide I don't want to lug around my camera, something happens to make me wish I had it LOL. I just worry about it in the heat and such. I treat my cameras like they're my babies:)
My dad even got me a smaller (non SLR) digital camera last Christmas, so I'd have one I didn't worry about. I just am not quite used to it yet. And I do still worry about it LOL!
